EveryLady ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your information when you use the EveryLady mobile application (available on Google Play) and the everyladyy.com website.
1. Information We Collect
Account information — name, email address, username, phone number (optional), date of birth (optional) and city (optional), provided when you create an account or edit your profile.
Health information — menstrual cycle dates, flow levels, symptoms, moods, personal notes and the cycle predictions we calculate from them. You choose what to log; tracking is optional.
Orders & donations — delivery addresses, pickup choices, order history, Pad Bank donations and payment references you provide. Payments are made directly through MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money — we never collect or store card numbers or mobile-money PINs.
Photos & videos — only the media you choose to attach to community posts, with your permission.
Location — approximate location, only when you use the Shop Finder and only with your permission. You can decline or withdraw this at any time in your device settings.
Device & app data — device type, operating system, push-notification tokens and anonymised usage information used to keep the app working and improve it.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Cycle tracking: period predictions, reminders and health insights.
- Shopping: processing orders, deliveries, pickups and Pad Bank donations.
- Notifications: period reminders, pad-change alerts, order updates, health tips and announcements — each can be turned off in the app.
- Community: showing the posts, comments and reactions you choose to share.
- Support: responding to your medical and customer support requests.
- Improvement: anonymised, aggregated statistics to improve our services.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored securely with Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure).
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL.
- Health data is protected with row-level security — only your signed-in account can read your entries.
- Cycle data is also stored locally on your device so the tracker works offline, and syncs when you are back online.
- We never sell your personal or health data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal health data with third parties. We only share:
- Order details (name, address, phone) with delivery personnel, strictly to fulfil your delivery;
- Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you;
- Information we are legally required to disclose.
5. Your Rights & Choices
- Access and correct your data at any time in the app (Profile → Edit Profile).
- Opt out of any notification category (Settings → Smart Notifications).
- Withdraw camera, photo or location permissions in your device settings.
- Request a copy of your cycle data, or ask us any privacy question, using the contact details below.
6. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing services@everyladyy.com from your registered address.
After deletion, all personal data — including health data — is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Anonymised statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
7. Children's Privacy
EveryLady is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app or website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
